Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping surgery) can decrease the size and shape of the nose, narrow the nostrils, and make the tip more refined and uplifted. Most commonly, it is performed to remove a hump on the bridge of the nose or to make the tip of the nose smaller and more refined. Often times, it is combined with surgery done inside your nose to make your breathe better as well. (septoplasty) Whether a new nose shape if right for you can be determined prior to any surgery with computer imaging. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Eppley in Indianapolis and see if rhinoplasty surgery is right for you!

In the past, poor results from rhinoplasty were common due to the removal of too much bone and cartilage during the operation. Dr. Eppley uses newer techniques to maintain as much of the existing structures of the nose as possible, focusing on reshaping and sculpting what is already there. This leads to a reshaped nose that is more natural and balanced to the rest of one’s face. Noses with higher bridges with less turned-up tips creates a more beautiful look that fits a patient’s face better. Because Dr. Eppley’s rhinoplasty procedures are more refined and delicate, the patient often has less pain, swelling, and bruising.
